est and their agency Louken Group came to us with a challenge: using the brand’s endline “Together Growing Beauty” they wanted some way of visualising the idea that beauty (like talent) may be something you have naturally, but is also something that takes work to develop. We had the idea of using a ballerina - or, more specifically, a “ribbon dancer” - to demonstrate that something which can look effortless, graceful and beautiful at a glance, often takes a lot of work to get there. One extremely talented ribbon dancer (name) plus a spring-loaded reflective studio floor later, and we were ready for an amazing day’s shoot.
