Audi A3: Life in the fast lane

From time to time we’re invited by other production companies to support their work. This project was one such example, in which Prodigious (the production wing of Publicis, Leo Burnett and Saatchi & Saatchi) reached out to us to shoot a piece for the launch of the new Audi A3. Rather than a flashy TVC, this was to be more of a programme - a 20 minute long “live launch” stage show designed to feel inclusive and spontaneous - as if you’re present at a live event. Of course the one drawback of a studio environment is that you can’t exactly put a car through its paces. So we used carefully choreographed motion graphics on a giant screen to help give otherwise stationary cars a feeling of “big launch” energy and excitement. It may not have been the fast lane in reality, but it felt it in camera!
