Making a refreshing cup of tea is as easy as popping the kettle on and then pouring the water, isn’t it? Well… not exactly. The more time we, and our partners at Moore’s Lore Media, spent learning about the tea-making process from TWG Tea’s Master Blender Taha Bouqdib, the more we learned how much we didn’t know. Gathering all the knowledge he had shared with us, we crafted a script which told the story of everything that goes into the creation of the perfect cup of tea - from growing and then selecting the right leaves, to masterfully blending them (an extremely personal process), and finally to serving them in the right way, at the right temperature, in the right environment. The script led to a wonderful four-day shoot in which “tea breaks” took on a whole new dimension.
